![]() ![]() After pulling the ".pst" files for both Outlook and Archive and replacing them where they should go on my C: drive, I suddenly encountered 2 duplicate recoreds for my Personal Folders that I could not delete in the normal way. When I installed MS Standard Office 2003, I needed to pull my data from Outlook on the old HDD. I was able to get data off the cloned drive, so all was not lost. Unfortunately, I had to completely reinstall my Windows XP and all of my app's, since the clone of the original HDD made by Norton Ghost 2003 was corrupt (I guess my HDD was failing long before I had the final and complete failure that would not allow me to boot up). It is a Fujitsu 40 GB 5400RPM with 8 MB buffer). ![]() I was a bit disappointed since I had paid a lot for my warrenty. Recently, my HDD failed and Dell promptly sent me a replacement (refurbished, though. I just wanted to let everyone know what happened to me in hopes of helping others. ![]()
